But today I was forced to figure some stuff out and I actually made an image clickable! (Not necessarily from reading the guide but rather from examples and existing code). In any case, I was quite impressed with myself however I could not add more links to an image that was already clickable, so I went to my good friend Google and found this:
It's free, and hands-on is key when one is trying to learn something like HTML. My "guide" can only tell me so much. Plus there is so much reading! I have an HTML editor at work so no need find a web host yet. I can play around until I'm ready to invest some time and effort into my own website. One day. But for now, I will test my knowledge at work and on Blogger.
AND... I know my company's web developer quite well too. She is helping me out with the HTML emails in the meantime. She would normally do all the web dev herself but she's the only resource and is a hot commodity right now. Good time to learn a few new things myself!
For starters, I just relearned how to have a link open in a new tab - which I applied to the HTML image above. If you click on it, my blog page remains and a new tab opens with the HTML website. Neat stuff!
